NEWLY crowned Oscar-winning Best Actress Emma Stone has revealed the next accomplishment she wants to achieve – and hopes to start a family.
The 28-year-old has admitted that after bagging one of the highest accolades of her profession, her next desire is somewhat more down to earth.
She told Sunday People: “[I want to] Have a family. It makes me honestly flush because it feels like such a vulnerable thing to say.
“It’s such a crazy, incredible thing. I mean how wild to have children and a family.”
Emma managed to nab the Best Actress gong for her role in La La Land at the Academy Awards last Sunday – and was cheered on by her brother Spencer, who was her plus one at the event.
The closeness of her relationship with her family is something she often credits for keeping her “grounded”, telling the paper: “They would be able to kick me in the shins if I ever for one minute got lost up in the clouds.”
But there was someone in the crowd who was also overwhelmed by her accomplishment – her ex Andrew Garfield, who has repeatedly been the only person to give her a standing ovation at every win.
The pair’s friendship is clearly still a close one, despite them calling time on their five-year relationship in 2015.

Stone thanked her director Damien Chazelle and Ryan Gosling, saying of her co-star: “Thank you for making me laugh and for always raising the bar and for being the best partner in this crazy adventure.”
She promised she would individually find all of the film’s crew and “hug the hell” out of her friends when feeling “re-enters” her body.
On her trophy, Stone added: “I still have a lot of growing and learning to do and this guy is a symbol on that journey.”
Acting legends Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway announced La La Land as the winner– and the film’s producer Jordan Horowitz even accepted the award as he was joined on stage by the cast and crew.
It has since been named the biggest blunder in the show’s 88 year history.
